THE DEEP J TECHNIQUE
The "deep V" techniques is called "medical" because it does not require surgery.
This technique is performed without the use of a scalpel and ensures that
there is no scarring or detachment of facial tissues.
This techniques makes it possible to reposition the sagging
subcutaneous tissues (fat) of the face (upper third, middle third and
and lower third) in their original position, where they were before
ageing dragged them downwards under the effect of gravity, the
loss of quality of elastin and collagen fibres (which make up our
connective tissue) and peripheral bone resorption.
Under our skin, fat is not evenly distribute. We have several
compartments in which fat is trapped, and their shape varies
depending on the area of our face. As a result, the suspension
threads have to follow different paths, also known as "vectors",
in different areas. This is what this technique allows. Among
other things, it acts on the malar area, which is responsible
for sagging cheekbones and the creation of the nasolabial
fold, and on the jugal area, which is responsible for the
appeareance of jowls and the bitterness fold.
The technique is called "Deep" because infinite-Thread® will
be implanted, partly, in what is known as the SMAS
(superficial musculoaponeurotic system). This deep plane,
located just above the muscle, will ensure thet the tissues are
lifted very effectively and that the threads hook very well. In
other places, the threads will be implanted in the middle of the
hypodermis (fat located just below the dermis) and not on the
surface, in order to ensure the effectiveness of the result and the
invisibility of the threads.
The Technique is called"V"beacuse Infinite-Thread® will be implanted in a V-shape.
This form of implantation will ensure optimal attachement of the cogs from the first
day of implantation for a very long time.
The technique is also synonymous with a simple local anaesthetic, a short recovery
time and, as a result, complete discretion. It meets the expectations of many active
patients who want to get on with lives as quickly as possible.
THE DOUBLE CROSSING TECHNIQUE
The "Double crossing " technique is used to treat the neck area.
The "Double crossing " technique offers patients the possibility of
seeing their platysmal bands almost completely erased, but it also
offers them the possibility of regaining a clean, redesigned neck
angle.
The technique is so named becuase it involves crossing 2 Infinite-
Thread® on either side of the neck. In this way, and despite very
low tension, making the presence of the threads insensitive to
the patient, it is now possible to perform an effective and long-
lasting neck lift.
The possibility is a real innovation, even compared with the
world of surgery. The neck is certainely the most difficult
anatomical area to treat, even in the context of a surgical neck
lift. The reason for this difficulty lies in the muscle under the
neck, known as the "Platysma". This extremely powerful
muscle always manages to 'win' and regain its place even
when it is moved laterally and treated surgically.
The great advantage of the "Double crossing" technique
lies in the fact that it is not necessary to attack the
"Platysma" muscle by trying to move it laterally to obtain a
result. The platysmal bands are simply pressed backwards,
which is only possible with a suspension thread and this
technique, without coming into conflict with the muscle. This
and, above all, long-lasting results.
Surgeons often like to complement this technique with liposuction
of the area under the chin, for an even more impressive result.
THE COMBINATION WITH SURGICAL FACELIFTS
Surgeon practitioners can also offer their patients the use of Infinite-Thread® in
combination with surgical techniques such as traditional facelifts and necklifts.
This combination has the advantage to improve the result of traditional
facelifts and necklifts. It will allow to complete the action of the
surgical intervention without any tissue detachment and, therefore,
without visible scarring.
The result of the surgical facelift or necklift is enhanced for the
patient without any subsidiary post-operative effect due to the
thread.
We do not speak here about pure "medical" techniques since the
thread will be inserted while a facelift or necklift.
The choice of this type of combinated technique will be made by
your practitioner, in dialogue with you, according to your face,
the result you want to obtain, your medical history but also
sometimes in order to propose a combination of treatments
requiring this approach.

Why thread lift is the solution ?
Because the subcutaneous tissues collapse over time.
The sagging of fatty tissues (also called hypodermis) from the upper third of the face to the lower third is responsible for the appearance of these signs of aging. It is therefore necessary to opt for a treatment which allows these tissues to be repositioned in their original location. This is exactly the purpose of the Infinite-Thread®, whose very numerous small notches catch and gently lift the subcutaneous tissues.
Why it is true that several phenomena are at work, such as the melting of certain facial fat tissues, this remains moderate over time. There is even a slight increase in the total volume of fat, deep and superficial, under the skin until the age of 80. The rupture of the oval and neck, the collapse of the cheekbones, the appearance of jowls, nasolabial folds and bitterness folds ismainly the result of a phenomenon of sagging rather than melting.
You can do a very simple test to convince yourself. Lie down and look at your face in a mirror. You will see that all these signs of aging will then have almost disappeared. This is proof of the value of tissue repositioning and the fight against the effect of gravity.
